Katahdin Sheep were developed in Maine as a meat breed. As hair sheep they shed their coats and do not have to be shorn. They are also known for their parasite resistance and materal abilities. Their reduced lanolin makes their meat mild and tender.

We raise our Katahdin flock in a grass-fed system. We usually have breeding stock and lamb meat by the cut for sale.
